The Girlfriends App
A simple idea of connecting friends with shared experiences to help uplift, inspire and encourage them to achieve their goals. The idea soon blossomed into a collaborative community for women, marginalized folks, and allies to network, socialized, and level up every day in every way!

Data Gathering
In order to design an app for Women of Color, knowing the need for the application comes first. One on one prospective surveys and interviews were conducted in order to get an understanding of our target audience and their needs. The results below show how beneficial an app for Women of Color can be.
Low Fidelity Wireframes
The app design begin with story boarding and hand drown low fidelity sketches. This allowed me to map out the user flow of the application.
